Have you seen the Enterprise car rental commercial currently on TV? It shows a red truck pulling into a driveway, and a little girl very excited because her dad is going to use it to pick up lumber to build her a little playhouse on their property.
Now maybe they want to promote using a truck instead of the family car to get the materials to build a playhouse, but I think it's lame. A more direct ad would be to rent a truck to carry lumber to do a real house repair, or to keep from dirtying the family car by hauling garden supplies. A real and more likely scenario.
Another piece of minutia is they show the daughter bumping hammer heads with her dad at the end of the commercial. It may be a play hammer the daughter is holding, but it moves fast, and it is hard to tell. Real hardened hammer heads should never be hit against one another. One or both of them could shatter, injuring someone. Ignorant people, most likely kids, could emulate this and have a serious injury. What were the producers thinking?
